‘Blue Wave’ owner’s son is accused of sexual assault, fraud

Two young boys have been charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl at a Blue Wave boat outfitter’s home, police in South Carolina said Tuesday.

Police said the incident took place Tuesday night in the town of Greenville, South Carolina.

The 17-year old victim was walking home from school, but her backpack was broken, police said.

She was approached by two men in the parking lot, police told the Associated Press.

The suspects took the backpack, raped her and took off.

Two more men came back and sexually assaulted her, police say.

“It’s a very troubling story, but we are going to do everything we can to make sure that nothing happens to anyone else and that we find those responsible,” said Lt.

Mark Buehner of the Greenville Police Department.

Buehner told WLTX-TV that the alleged victim told police that the men who assaulted her had previously assaulted her.

Authorities said the 17- and 16-year olds are charged with rape and sexual battery.

Investigators were still trying to determine the motive behind the attack, but Bueehners office said they were trying to establish if the attack was random or was motivated by race.
